Do what now?

That's me there, fella.

Or, if you will allow me the drawing of a finer distinction, that's a semi-concretized, well-outdated digital representation of my physical presence, as informed and influenced by its indwelling spirit.

Your experience may vary; for optimal experience, recalibration of your inner and outer eyes, or their techno-intermediary, this scrying-screen casting black light on your face, is recommended.

And, uh, well, if you've dipped your toe (or waded yet deeper) into this goodly spring-fed pond in a quiet dell nestled among the imperishable heights of the literary mountain-peaks reared up by mine own hands in a tremendous and awe-full work of digital cosmogony... I'll tell you that this might serve, in the coarse terms of our degraded age... as a rez-oo-may for prospective employers.

Yuh heard?

I know, words are hard.

Big words are harder.

And, well -- when such a one as I, with poetic predilections and an ear for musical phrasing, untethers them from gross literality and sets them to flight, free to circle and course in celestial realms of free metaphorical-imaginal association... fuhgeddaboudit.

Lemme clap it out fuh yuh, boo.

If you found this by luck, feast your senses and delight in my creative play, with my blessing for your edification in your so doing.

If I sent you here, it's 'cause I'm trying to get you to pay me for work.

If you're STILL lost, I'm sorry, hon, but I can't reduce it to simpler terms; my being isn't an algorithm or an algebraic equation.

But I'll throw you a proverbial bone.

Below, a repurposed replay of the "About Me" section of my website, this very one you're standin' on there, fella.

Or, if you ain't much the readin' type, you could say I live my life and do my work like this lovely woman improvises in this inherited mode  -- a summary for the music-minded, y'understand:

Sepideh Meshki shows you how it's done among the civilized.

A little etymology for you...

Eshgh... love

Aashegh... one who is in love

Aashigh... a bard, a mystic poet.

Now.

To become an Aashigh and travel wide lands,

A man should have vast knowledge,

Behave well,

Be gracious of word and deed.

He should be able to teach the truth,

Kill evil within himself, refrain from expressing noxious emotions,

And do favors and good deeds

So others think well of him.

He should know the weight of his words,

Be brilliant in speech,

Speak by means of metaphor,

And be a diplomat in discourse.

He should be wise and understand the unspoken word,

Behave modestly,

Incline toward mysticism,

Have a good ear, and follow the path to salvation.

God will show the truth of his words,

Angels will record his deeds,

He will see with a third eye,

And he will walk a righteous path.

-- Interpretation of a translation of Azeri Aashigh Alasgar's poetry

"This New Life is endless, and even after my physical death it will be kept alive by those who live the life of complete renunciation of falsehood, lies, hatred, anger, greed, and lust; and who, to accomplish this, do no lustful actions, do no harm to anyone, do no backbiting, do not seek material possessions or power, who accept no homage, neither covet honor nor shun disgrace, and fear no one and nothing; by those who rely wholly and solely on God, and who love God purely for the sake of loving; who believe in the lovers of God and in the reality of Manifestation, and yet do not expect any spiritual or material reward; who do not let go the hand of Truth, and who, without being upset by calamities, bravely and wholeheartedly face all hardships with one hundred percent cheerfulness, and give no importance to caste, creed, and religious ceremonies. This New Life will live by itself eternally, even if there is no one to live it."

-- Meher Baba

My soul is my witness,

God is my judge;

I set my eyes on that far peak,

Let my heart guide my feet,

And pray for forgiveness

When I fall in my long climb towards it.
